Delete your account

You can delete your Handiary account, and everything stored with it, at any time. It happens straight away and can’t be undone.

What is deleted

• Your account: your email, name, password and settings.
• All your money: entries, accounts, categories, budgets, repeating entries and money owed.

It is removed from the database straight away. The database host (Neon) keeps a short rolling history so the service can recover from an outage; deleted data ages out of that history on its own and is never restored from it for anyone. To keep a copy, use Download everything on You (top right of every page) first.

In the app

Open Handiary, go to the You tab, and tap Delete my account.

Can’t sign in?

Write to Harish through designedbyharish.in from the email address on your account, and ask for it to be deleted. You’ll get a reply once it’s done.
