Handiary

Privacy

Plain language. Last updated 2 November 2026.

Handiary is a small, independent money diary, on the web and as an Android app. It has no ads and no analytics, it never connects to your bank, and it does not sell or share what you write. This page says only what the code actually does.

What is stored with your account

What stays on your device

Where the rest is kept

Your account data is stored in a database so it can sync between your devices. The website and the server are hosted on Vercel and the database runs on Neon. Everything travels over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

Cookies

On the website, one cookie keeps you signed in. It is not used for tracking and expires after 30 days.

Other services

Who can see it

Only you, through your account. Handiary gives no way, including for its administrator, to read someone else’s money or words; the administrator sees only counts, such as how many entries someone has written. The person who runs the service has technical access to the database in order to keep it working.

Taking it with you, or deleting it

On You (top right of every page): Download everything gives you one file with your account, your settings and all your money. Clear my money removes your money and keeps your account. Delete my account removes the account and everything stored with it, straight away. Deleting cannot be undone. The database host keeps a short rolling history for recovering from an outage, from which deleted data ages out on its own. You can also delete your account on the web, without the app: handiary.designedbyharish.in/delete-account.
