Handiary

Terms

Plain language. Last updated 2 November 2026.

Handiary is a free personal money diary: you write down what you spend, earn and move, and it keeps the balances, budgets and records for you. By using it you agree to the following.

A diary, not a bank

Handiary doesn’t connect to any bank, card or payment service, and it can’t move, hold, lend or send money. Every number in it is one you typed. It isn’t financial, tax or investment advice, and it doesn’t replace a qualified professional. Check anything important against your bank’s own records.

The service

Handiary is provided free of charge, as it is, by an independent maker. It is looked after carefully, but it may change, have bugs or be unavailable at times, and there is no guarantee it will run forever. Download your data from You (top right of every page) now and then if you want your own copy.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself; anyone with it can open your account. You are responsible for what you write in it. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time from You, or on the account deletion page.

Fair use

Do not use Handiary to break the law, to harm others, or to try to get into accounts that are not yours. Accounts used that way may be closed.

Liability

As far as the law allows, Handiary’s maker is not liable for losses that come from using, or not being able to use, the app, including lost data or decisions made from its numbers.

Who made this

Handiary is a personal project, not a company product. There’s no paid plan, no subscription, no ads and nothing to cancel. If these terms change, the date above changes with them.
